Roasted Pears with Prosciutto and Tre Stelle® Parmesan

Instructions

• • Preheat oven to 350ºF (180ºC).
  • Cut pears in half lengthwise; using a melon baller or a small sharp knife, remove cores.
  • Cut each pear half lengthwise into 3 wedges.
  • Place pear wedges in a single layer on a large baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with balsamic and olive oil and sprinkle with sugar.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, turning occasionally until pears are softened and liquid is thick and syrupy.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before handling – approximately 10 minutes.
  • Cut each prosciutto slice in 3 pieces lengthwise.
  • Place a sliver of Tre Stelle® Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese onto each pear wedge and wrap with prosciutto.
  • Arrange on a serving platter and drizzle with pan juices.
